ALTC - Southeast Washington can help support you in your efforts to care for the people you love. We provide free resources and support for caregivers in the eight county region of Southeast Washington. From foot care services to case management, we can help guide you to the caregiver support you need.

Support for long term or kinship care for elderly and disabled individuals available in these Washington Counties: Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Kittitas, Walla Walla, Yakima. To find your local office please see our office list here.

Our caseworkers work with aging and adult caregivers to design a plan that helps avoid caregiver burnout and provide support for long term well being. If you're providing services like the list below, we can help support you and your loved ones.

Long Term Caregiver Support Services

Caregiving can be rewarding, but can also take its tole. The ADRC assists caregivers with a variety of support programs.

Kinship Care

Washington State and the US Congress have seen the benefits resulting from support services to unpaid family caregivers.

Caregiver Trainings & Workshops

SE WA ALTC – COG provides a variety of evidence-based programming that is specific to caregiver and/or dementia-related concerns.

One study indicated that supporting caregivers delays out-of-home placement for an average of 18 months.

Caregiver Support Services can provide additional support through group training, seminars, support groups, limited transportation and medical equipment.
