As always, ALTC'S respite program provides relief for families and other unpaid caregivers of vulnerable adults age 18 and over. A Case Manager will discuss the options available under this program and assess eligibility. Care recipients may share in some of the costs based on a sliding fee scale.

In Home Care

As a caregiver, taking regularly scheduled breaks from day-to-day responsibilities of caregiving is essential for maintaining the inner resources to carry on.

Respite Program provides the means for you, as a caregiver, to take a break and recharge. By providing qualified, caring people who come to your home and take over care of your loved one, the caregiver can have a little time on a regular basis to rest, take care of their own personal needs, run errands or just take a walk or nap.

Adult Day Services
There are programs and facilities that offer excellent care and activities for your loved one, giving family members the opportunity and peace of mind to take a break from ongoing care.

Your loved one will enjoy therapeutic, social, education and recreational activities in a safe social setting and under the supervision of professional and caring staff.
